Hiking has become one of my favorite pass times. Being outdoors, walking through nature and enjoying the air around me has made me feel more comfortable in my own skin and confident in myself. Being able to see things from a different perspective than where you started is the most intriguing thing about it. Starting from the bottom and then making it to the top of a peak is the most breathtaking experience, figuratively and literally.
Rock Climbing has become a huge part of my life. I still have never made it outdoor climbing, however, I plan to do that soon. I spend a couple hours in the gym bouldering and practicing my technique. I just recently started top rope climbing in the gym and hope to be more successful in the more long route climbing. My roomate and I go every Tuesday night for at least 2 hours.
Just like climbing, mountain biking has recently made its way into my life. I started biking to class from my house, and then decided to take my bike on trails. I have never been more exhausted in my life. I am very out of shape still, but i finished the trail even if I had to walk it out. I have wrecked my bike a couple times, and just recently had to buy new wheels because I bent the first ones.
