Hi, my name is Andrew Wright. I started taking photos in 2017 during my first summer in college on my iPhone while my brother and friends skateboarded around Fort Worth, Texas. I ended up enjoying it so much that I later bought a my first, and only, camera by winter. I currently use a Canon T6i, and a Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 ART lens. The focal length of the lens has become my favorite. I believe that 90% of all my photos are shot with this lens.
I am currently a senior at Texas State University studying Digital Media Innovation with a minor in business. I have some experience coding through class assignment and freelance work using Squarespace to set up client sites. I just recently got an Digital Marketing internship at Row Business Solutions and look forward to learning more and putting my knowledge to work. After I graduate, I intend to go forward in the Digital Marketing and Branding world. I am very passionate about helping people bring their brands to life and seeing them be successful.
I look up to brands such as Filson, REI, North Face, and Patagonia. These brands all advocate for being outside, however each one goes about it in very different ways. Filson has been around since 1897 and brings a traditional feel towards outdoor clothing, targeting their brand towards people who work outdoors and live a more ruggid lifestyle. Whereas, REI promotes being outdoors, hiking, fishing, ect. because it's fun and enjoyable.
